2019 NFL Draft: Full two-round mock for each team across the league

The Carolina Panthers could use some help in the secondary, and it wouldn’t be a bad idea to find some upgrades along the offensive line either. But one of the pressing needs is to get both younger and more athletic in the pass-rush department. After all, veteran defensive end Julius Peppers is 38 years old, and fellow edge rusher Mario Addison is 31 years old.
Finding some youth for the Panthers pass rush would go a long way to alleviating those secondary concerns too.
A hot name rising up big boards is Florida EDGE Jachai Polite, who has now cemented himself as a first-round prospect after a 2.5-sack game on Nov. 24 against Florida State and now has 11.0 quarterback takedowns on the season.
Polite isn’t polite at all, rather a disruptive force off the edge with plenty of bend and speed to get around above-average offensive tackles.
