Greedy Williams. 10. player. 48. . Cornerback. LSU

Like the Jaguars, albeit with a worse defense, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have to decide if a long-term change is needed at quarterback.

The Bucs have already benched quarterback Jameis Winston, then re-giving him starting duties where he shredded a bad 49ers defense in Week 12. As far as consistency and reliability goes, however, Winston may not be the long-term answer.

That said, Tampa Bay’s biggest needs are clearly on the defensive side of the ball. The pass defense has been atrocious, and finding some lock-down defensive backs need to be a top priority.

So the mock pick for the Buccaneers here should be an easy one, LSU cornerback Greedy Williams.

Williams is the top-ranked defensive back in this year’s class, and he looks to be the next up-and-coming LSU cornerback ready to make a serious impact right out of the gate.

In fact, the Buccaneers could spend all of their 2019 NFL Draft picks on defenders, and it wouldn’t be a bad thing.
