No. 1: Defensive Tackle DeForest Buckner

Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner is, without question, the best player on the team’s defense. Not a week goes by that Buckner doesn’t jump out and force you to take notice of his stellar play.

On Sunday, Buckner had five tackles, two for loss and a sack.

Regularly working through double teams, against offensive lines schemed to take him out of the game, Buckner is like the post office.

He always delivers.

Still only 24 years old, the rest of the NFC can’t be happy with the thought of Buckner improving with age.
