42. . Kicker. . Robbie Gould. 9. team

Sticking with the special teams theme (kickers are people too), we have to give some love to veteran kicker Robbie Gould.

On a positive note, Gould hasn’t been called upon to make quite as many field goals this season as he was a year ago, which is hopefully an indication Kyle Shanahan’s offense is working better now than it was in 2017. To date, Gould has made 18 of his 19 attempts — good for a 94.7 conversion percentage, which ranks fifth in the NFL.

He’s missed just one of his extra-point attempts too.

One could argue Gould was snubbed for a Pro Bowl nod last season. His stats haven’t been quite as dominant this year, so that likely remains the case once 2018 wraps up.

But what gets Gould on the list is this — out of the 49ers’ 207 points scored, Gould’s leg has accounted for 71 of them.

That’s 34.3 percent.

So, when you’re responsible for over a third of the total offensive output, you have to be included on this list.
