No. 4: Richard Sherman vs. Odell Beckham Jr.

Well, if this isn’t a matchup fans wouldn’t want to watch, who knows what is?

The Giants passing offense has been bad this year, true. But not because of wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who leads the team with 785 yards on 61 receptions, well on his way to crest 1,000 yards again this season.

While Eli Manning’s issues under center have held Beckham from reaching his peak, the three-time Pro Bowler is still more than capable doing damage against any opponent.

He’ll often find himself lined up opposite cornerback Richard Sherman, who has been one of the most reliable and consistent defenders San Francisco has this season.

When he’s on the field, of course.

Sherman has blanketed the left side of the Niners secondary all season, rarely being targeted by opponents’ quarterbacks. Therefore, one might expect the Giants to force some routes for Beckham away from Sherman’s side.

But when it happens, it sure will be fun to watch who gets the edge.
