Winner: Wide Receiver Kendrick Bourne

It would be too easy to list the 49ers’ top offensive threat, George Kittle, as a team winner from Week 9. And Richie James has already been mentioned.

But another notable winner from the contest is second-year wide receiver Kendrick Bourne, who has emerged as a red-zone weapon for Kyle Shanahan and Co.

Bourne had just two catches for six yards on the night. But one of those catches, a 4-yard connection from Nick Mullens, went for a touchdown off an inside slant route at the 12:40 mark of the second quarter:

Bourne is tied with Kittle for second among all Niners pass catchers, behind wide receiver Marquise Goodwin (four), with three touchdowns in 2018 — not bad, considering Bourne has just 19 catches on the year.

And all of his scores have come within the red zone, helping put some of San Francisco’s woes there.
