Buffalo. Anthony Johnson. 14. player. 30. . Wide Receiver

Notice a trend here with first-year quarterbacks? Teams either need to find them protection up front or grab weapons to provide them help in the passing game.

The latter applies to rookie quarterback Sam Darnold and the New York Jets.

New York hasn’t exactly received top-tier receiving help this season. The team’s leading wide receiver, Quincy Enunwa, is just shy of 300 receiving yards on the year. And he’s going to be a free agent after 2018.

The Jets could afford a few playmakers on offense to take pressure off Darnold. So going after Buffalo’s Anthony Johnson, who stands at 6-foot-2 and 210 pounds, would be about as smart as it gets at No. 14 overall.
