57. . W, 48-10 vs. Buccaneers. Previous: . Chicago Bears. 10. team

Last week, we urged Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky to show us something despite Chicago getting off to a nice 2-1 start to the season.

Well, he did. And then some. And then some more. Then again.

Trubisky tossed for a whopping six touchdowns on 19 completions during the Bears’ 48-10 blowout of the Buccaneers. He was awesome, relying heavily on wide receiver Taylor Gabriel out of the slot and using running back Tarik Cohen as an effective safety valve.

Oh, and EDGE Khalil Mack continues to dominate. Where have you heard that line before, Raiders?

It was a bit weird to see running back Jordan Howard effectively pulled from the game, much to the disappointment of fantasy football owners everywhere. Perhaps that’s a sign to come, as Cohen looked far more potent a weapon on the air and on the ground.

Let’s see if Trubisky can keep up the momentum from his breakout game. But if that’s a sign of things to come, watch out, NFC North. The Bears have officially arrived.
