L, 48-10 @ Bears. Previous: . Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 21. team. 48.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers suffer a pretty substantial fall in our NFL power rankings for a couple of reasons.

First, the score — a 48-10 lopsided loss on the road to the Chicago Bears. That’s about as bad as it gets, and the Bucs had zero answers for Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. Few teams can say that since Trubisky joined the league last season, and that’s not a good thing.

On top of that, it appears as if the “Fitz Magic” for quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is officially over. He was pulled for Jameis Winston after going 9-of-18 for 126 yards and tossing an interception.

At least wide receiver DeSean Jackson was a positive for Tampa Bay.

That was about it, though, and the Buccaneers are looking to be the team many thought they’d be to start the season. Those two wins to open the year are a distant memory now.
