NFL power rankings: 49ers stay even, Patriots fall entering Week 3

The Broncos probably weren’t one of the teams many thought could win the AFC West in 2019. But at least they’re starting off on the right foot, holding on to beat the Seahawks in Week 1 and also edging the Raiders 20-19, thanks to a 10-point Broncos fourth quarter.
That comeback might speak more to the lack of defensive weapons in Oakland than anything Denver is doing exceptionally well on offense. Quarterback Case Keenum wasn’t particularly great, although running back Phillip Lindsay rushed for 107 yards on 14 carries.
Emmanuel Sanders is quickly emerging as the Broncos’ top threat through the air too. He had 96 yards on four catches.
While the Broncos are off to a good start, going 2-0 to start 2018 and pulling off their first inter-division win of the season, let’s see how this group does when it takes to the road for the first time this season before bumping Denver up any higher.
The Broncos travel east to visit the Ravens in Week 3.
