No. 4: Wide Receiver Mike Williams (vs. Kansas City)

After the Kansas City Chiefs questionably traded All-Pro cornerback Marcus Peters to the Los Angeles Rams during the offseason, K.C. now has close to zero talent at the cornerback position.

  • Which makes this game the perfect opportunity for another 2016 first-round receiver to begin his breakout season.

    Enter Mike Williams.

The ultimate red-zone monster, standing at 6-foot-3, the Los Angeles Charger was drafted in the first round for a reason. With tight end Hunter Henry out with a torn ACL, Williams will catch a lot of touchdowns this season. And especially in this game against the offense-heavy Chiefs, which could easily become a shootout.

The Chiefs acquired the solid cornerback Kendall Fuller through a trade earlier in the offseason, but he primarily played in the slot, which Keenan Allen, the Chargers’ No. 1 receiver, plays in. Williams is much more of an outside receiver to snag those jump balls, so he will be going up against Steven Nelson, Pro Football Focus‘ No. 55 ranked cornerback in 2017.

Again, this is another great matchup for the second-year receiver. Start him this week and watch him score a touchdown or two.
