Stock up: Alfred Morris

Well, that didn’t take long.

Alfred Morris lit it up against the Indianapolis Colts, and had the best performance of any 49ers running back this preseason.

While yes preseason performances should be taken with a pinch of salt, what was impressive was how much Morris looked like his Pro Bowler self.

Should Jerick McKinnon be injured or be unimpressive, it isn’t a stretch to imagine Morris being a very key component of the offense.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan is a brilliant offensive mind, and surely he sees enough that Morris will now make the roster.

Morris has the biggest stock up this week.
