No. 3: Can Sheldon Day continue to disrupt?

Sheldon Day has had a promising preseason, and it’s worth wondering if he can be the interior presence with DeForest Buckner that could hassle interior blockers for the 49ers for a long time.

Day had success finding his way into the backfield against both the 49er and Texan linemen in scrimmages, and a strong showing would go a long way to seeing him be a Week 1 starter.

The 49ers are desperate for consistent pressure on the quarterback this year from its linemen, and Buckner needs a partner in crime to help wreak havoc on offenses.
