No. 8: Jimmy Garoppolo Proves He Isn’t Just All Hype

OK, so the guy was under center when the 49ers won the last five games of 2017. Was he riding a wave of luck, or is there genuine talent present within the man who stayed in New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s shadow for so long?

The truth will come out. And when it does, I see the Niners having a franchise quarterback in Jimmy G.

Why?

First, there are reports how Garoppolo used to shred the Pats defense in practice before coming out west. That’s something to consider.

But if the these numbers don’t tell you anything, I don’t know what will.
