No. 6: Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch Chemistry Continues to Grow

It is not often a team’s general manager and head coach can work hand in hand seamlessly, let alone see eye to eye.

Ladies and gentlemen, the 49ers have that in their grasps with these two football fanatics, Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch.  Since their pairing in January of 2017, the two have made stellar decisions both on and off the field.

For San Francisco fans who easily recall the tension and frustration between former general manager Trent Baalke and head coaches

Jim Harbaugh

,

Jim Tomsula

and

Chip Kelly

, the new relationship between Shanahan and Lynch is about as refreshing as it gets.

I look for this to strengthen as the two go through their second season together at the forefront of the 49ers.
