No. 11: The 49ers Will Have a Winning Season

Whether they go 9-7, 10-6 or 14-2, I predict that 2018 will herald more wins than losses.

The rationale? Well, for starters, the Niners have a much easier schedule this season — a middle-of-the-pack one, in terms of opponents’ wins and losses last year — than they did in 2016, for example, when they had the toughest and went 2-14 as a result.

And there’s only one road trip to the East Coast: Week 12 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which just happens to come after San Francisco’s bye week. That makes things considerably easier.

In pulling above the .500 mark, the Niners will have done something they haven’t accomplished since going 12-4 back in 2013 — finish with a winning record.
