Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers

This one shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone.

Arguably the best quarterback in the NFL and certainly one of the best QBs of all time.

Rodgers is a mastermind behind center. His ability to move in the pocket and throw on the run is better than anyone I have ever seen.

His pinpoint accuracy and elite arm strength will challenge the 49ers’ young defensive backs.

Regardless of whether the 49ers defense is in position, can get a pass rush, can flush Rodgers out of the pocket or can even get a hit on him, Rodgers can make a play.

It’s not a matter of stopping him, because we have all seen time and time again that he can’t be stopped. It’s a matter of disguising defensive packages and alignments and hoping to contain him.

Getting constant pass rush will be key.

Containing Rodgers doesn’t just mean the defense making plays. The 49ers offense has to be on their game and make plays themselves, extend drives and keep Rodgers off the field.

Although the 49ers have had a lot of recent success against Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, every time Rodgers steps out on the field, it will be a challenge for whoever tries to stop him.
