No. 1: The 49ers will make the playoffs

Let’s break it down, subtracting all the divisional games where I already predicted a 5-1 record.

I believe the 49ers will record victories over the Detroit Lions, New York Giants, Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears at home and a victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers away.

On the other side of the coin I believe the Oakland Raiders will beat San Francisco at home (ready your torches and pitchforks) and lose to Minnesota Vikings, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers and Green Bay Packers away.

For those not keeping score, that’s overall a 10-6 record when factoring in the divisional predictions.

10-6, and either the divisional crown or a Wild Card await.
