Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo

Stat prediction: 573 attempts, 392 completions,  4,460 yards, 31 touchdowns and 14 interceptions

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo will be the first QB in franchise history to throw for over 4,200 yards in a season since QB Jeff Garcia did in 2000.

Garoppolo has a knack of finding his wide receivers and hitting them with accurate passes, no matter the look he is given by the defense. He has elite-level traits and has not yet given us all a reason to believe otherwise. The proof is in the numbers.

Garoppolo lead the NFL in completion percentage under pressure beating the likes of New England Patriots QB and former teammate Tom Brady:

His complete passing accuracy is above average in almost every category, and 22.5 percent of his throws are pinpoint accurate, putting him at an elite level, according to Pro Football Focus:

In the five games Garoppolo started for the Niners, he vaulted himself to a top 10 grade from PFF:

Keep in mind Garoppolo managed to do all of this with a very short amount of time in the playbook and an offense that was limited because of it. Now with an entire offseason in head coach Kyle Shanahan’s system, Garoppolo will break out and have a career year in 2018.
