Solomon Thomas has been showing more of his potential

Defensive end Solomon Thomas didn’t have a great rookie year by any account, it wasn’t awful by any stretch but it could best be described as up and down.

That being said, he finished the year pretty well, and it carried over to OTAs as the 49ers website pointed out:

"Both Thomas and Buckner stood out. Thomas beat Joshua Garnett twice in a row before doing the same to Najee Toran. Buckner also beat Garnett twice in a row."

It’s a small sample size, but Thomas could yet be the EDGE that 49ers fans are longing for.
