Quarter 4: Players (Joe Staley, Richard Sherman, DeForest Buckner, Robbie Gould, Kyle Juszczyk, Mike McGlinchey, Dante Pettis, Fred Warner, Tarvarius Moore)

The five veterans and four rookies came out in separate groups in the final quarter of the evening and were very different in their confidence level.

As expected, the veterans were infectious with their energy, mostly thanks to left tackle Joe Staley, who is undoubtedly the hype man in the team’s locker room. Robbie Gould cracked kicker jokes, DeForest Buckner deviated from his usual quiet and reserved self to make fun of Richard Sherman, who is already acting like a real leader of the team, and Kyle Juszczyk was constantly showered by praise of his superhero-like strength.

The veterans infused this unreal sense of optimism into every fan in the crowd. These men are clearly born to lead, and I am excited to see where that leadership takes this team.

On the other hand, the rookies acted just as about you would expect shy kids on their first day of school to act like. There’s really not much to say about them except the fact that wide receiver Dante Pettis, linebacker Fred Warner and defensive back Tarvarius Moore all claimed that the class clown of the rookie group was actually offensive tackle Mike McGlinchey, who is the last person you would expect to be called such.
