10. Terrence Flagler, Running Back, Clemson

It seemed like a good idea at the time, using the 25th pick in 1987 to take an All-American in running back Terrence Flagler. The idea being that he would team with Roger Craig to create a tandem that would devastate opposing defenses.

What they would get in three years was 42 carries for 145 yards and one touchdown, before he demanded a trade elsewhere.

Flagler would bounce around the league (including a very brief second stint for a fortnight with the 49ers) before eventually bouncing out of it.

Sadly, children today will never hear of the Craig-Flagler tandem.
