14. Jim Pace, Running Back, Michigan

I should probably warn people at this point, there may be a lot of photos of random draft stuff for some of these players.

Jim Pace was drafted eighth overall in 1958 to provide some…pace to the 49ers backfield.

Was that a little too obvious a joke? I’m sorry.

Unfortunately, the stats for Pace are a bit sorry as well. In just 12 games he would have just 161 yards at 3.2 yards per carry and two touchdowns.
