San Francisco 49ers: The worst 15 NFL draft picks in franchise history
3. Jim Druckenmiller, Quarterback, Virginia Tech
Full disclosure, it was tight between quarterback Jim Druckenmiller and our eventual runner-up. I decided to tiebreak on the grounds that, while Druckenmiller was hopeless, the runner-up’s amazingly poor work ethic and attitude pissed off fans just that little bit more.
Not that Druckenmiller didn’t piss people off.
He was just horrible after being the 26th pick in 1997, I’ll just leave his stats here:
Twenty-one completions from 52 attempts, 1 touchdown, 4 interceptions, 29.2 passer rating.
29.2.
29.2.
I’ll leave it there.
