Cornerback D.J. Reed

Cornerbacks D.J. Reed (5-foot-9) and Richard Sherman (6-foot-3) are very different in terms of height.

In terms of confidence? They might as well be twins.

Reed is a small cornerback with all the confidence and swagger in the world. His tape is just brimming of a high level of energy and intense ballhawking ability. He is going to be a great slot corner in this league and maybe push fellow nickel back K’Waun Williams off the team.

However, I don’t see that happening this year. Like Moore’s situation,

Reed will not see much playing time at all unless Williams gets hurt. Williams really proved himself as a great first free agency pickup for John Lynch and, as a result, earned a three-year contract extension.
