Best Pick: QB Josh Rosen, UCLA

Let’s admit, the Cardinals are going to be bad this season. Likely a three- or four-win team. But, after moving up with the Oakland Raiders to No. 10 overall, at least they have their quarterback of the future.

UCLA’s Josh Rosen could have wound up being a top-three pick this year. Falling to No. 10 adds tremendous value for a team that initially had the 15th overall pick in the NFL Draft. And while Rosen’s supporting cast might not be great this year, outside of running back David Johnson and wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona has the option to roll with veteran QB Sam Bradford until Rosen is fully ready.

That might be sooner than later, especially considering Bradford’s injury history.

The soon-to-be 35-year-old Fitzgerald needs a replacement at some point. And one can easily like the Cardinals’ addition of Texas A&M’s Christian Kirk in Round 2. He should be a nice weapon for Rosen for some time.

Even after what looks to be a solid draft class, 2018 is going to be a long year for the Cardinals, who can’t move up any further in our NFL power rankings.
