Tennessee Titans. 13. team. 35. . Last Rank: 15.

Best Pick: EDGE Harold Landry, Boston College

The Tennessee Titans have had a pretty monstrous offseason. After parting ways with head coach MIke Mularkey, replacing him with the up-and-coming Mike Vrabel, the Titans cashed in on a notable free-agent haul — including cornerback Malcolm Butler — and had a phenomenal NFL Draft class too.

We’ll see how that pans out during the regular season, as teams that win the offseason rarely go onto “win it all.” But, for now, it’s worth bumping Tennessee up a couple of spots in our NFL power rankings.

Another prime reason why is a small but very impressive draft class.

After moving up to No. 22 overall, via a deal with the Ravens, the Titans grabbed Alabama linebacker Rashaan Evans to help plug second-level gaps in their defense. Remember, Vrabel is a former linebacker. This is a perfect find-and-match selection.

And then, the Titans arguably had the steal of the draft by landing Boston College EDGE Harold Landry all the way down at No. 41 overall. Some draft boards had Landry ranked the best pass-rusher in this year’s class behind Bradley Chubb.

Not bad in Round 2. Not bad at all.

Washington State quarterback Luke Falk in Round 6 was a solid grab too. He’ll back up Marcus Mariota for now but could be a nice tradeable commodity down the road.
