Quarterback

Starter: Jimmy Garoppolo

Backup: C.J. Beathard

Depth: Nick Mullens

No surprise here, as there are 137.5 million reasons why Jimmy Garoppolo will be the starting quarterback for the 49ers. In his previous five starts, he was one of the top QBs in the NFL, as stated by Pro Football Focus here. His play on the field elevated the players around him, and the quality of play from the offense skyrocketed.

The 49ers finally have stability at the NFL’s most important position.

2017 third-round draft selection C.J. Beathard and Nick Mullens will provide backup duties.
