Loser: Pittsburgh Steelers

As much as it pains me to say it, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is going to retire soon. It is inevitable. You can see it in his play — he is breaking down and mulls retirement after every season.

The Steelers don’t have any good backup quarterbacks to fill Roethlisberger’s shoes. Joshua Dobbs and Landry Jones? Pass. Pittsburgh had the perfect opportunity to draft the quarterback of their future with Lamar Jackson still on the board when the team was on the clock.

So what did the Steelers do? They draft a safety, a position that they are already set at, that was projected to go in the mid rounds.

This pick is a complete head-scratcher. Terrell Edmunds is a very athletic prospect but often misses tackles. He is only solid at coverage and is very mediocre. I cannot believe he went in the first.
