With the 2018 NFL schedule now released, it’s time to rank the San Francisco 49ers’ five easiest games of the upcoming regular season. What are the easy W’s for the Niners this year?

We knew the San Francisco 49ers‘ list of 2018 opponents a while back, and now we know exactly when the Niners will play them this upcoming season.

With the 2018 NFL schedule now released, there’s an immediate need for speculation and guesswork for all 32 teams around the league. There are, of course, plenty of factors that’ll ultimately influence the win-loss column. But we don’t know those yet.

What we do know, though, is how San Francisco’s schedule pans out:

According to CBS Sports’ John Breech, the Niners are tied for the 15th easiest schedule this season, with opponents boasting a 2017 win percentage of exactly .500 (128-128).

One shouldn’t put too much stock in this, as the parity of the NFL is pretty huge, but it’s worth noting. Also worth noting is the fact the 49ers have just one trip to the eastern time zone — Week 12 versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That should help matters a lot.

We already broke down what we thought would be the five toughest games on San Francisco’s schedule.

Now it’s time to flip the narrative and identify what we think will be the five easiest games for head coach Kyle Shanahan and Co. in 2018.
