2. Quenton Nelson, Guard, Notre Dame

Quenton Nelson was originally going to be my top prospect, but after recent news I’ll get into the final slide, I have to knock him down to the second slot.

It’s no secret I have a draft crush on Nelson, and there is a glaring hole at guard that can be filled for a very long time with Nelson. With the ability to be a force on either rushing or passing plays, Nelson will provide his team with a decade of elite blocking, whoever that may be.

It’s possible a team like the Denver Broncos or Tampa Bay Buccaneers take him before the 49ers can, but there is a chance he could fall down and be the 49ers’ gain.
