4. Defensive Tackle

It’s a very real possibility that the 49ers could go defensive lineman yet again in the first round. Some will say it’s an apt choice to upgrade the defensive trenches, some will groan and roll their eyes.

I have written before about Vita Vea and how he would fit into the 49ers offense as a partner in crime for DeForest Buckner, it would be an amazing duo for the interior defensive line and a defense in need for more production in the sacks department.

Like wide receiver it may not be considered a huge need, but definitely doesn’t stop it from being a possibility in round 1.
