124. player. 42. . EDGE. Rutgers. Kemoko Turay

It was a bit weird to see Rutgers EDGE Kemoko Turay fall all the way into Round 2, as it’s likelier he goes on day two.

But since he was there, well, it’s a good pick.

Turay’s numbers at Rutgers don’t exactly scream a top-tier pass-rusher. After all, he had only 14.5 sacks over four collegiate seasons. But his 6-foot-5, 241-pound frame screams pass-rusher, and his raw skill set is the kind that would make him a worthy draft-and-develop guy for San Francisco’s defense.

And even though the Niners already grabbed an EDGE in Lorenzo Carter, it would be wise to add yet another in the later rounds if possible.

Especially if a player like Turay becomes available.
