Yawn.

That pretty much describes the Cincinnati Bengals’ offeseason thus far.

It was a shock to see the Bengals retain head coach Marvin Lewis. His team has defined the “underachiever” moniker for years now, and the wise move would have been to usher in a complete rebuild.

Instead, Cincinnati appears destined to repeat what we’ve seen the last two seasons. Quarterback Andy Dalton regressed aplenty in 2017. And wide receiver A.J. Green and running back Joe Mixon can’t provide enough firepower to help turn the Bengals into a possible contender.

Worst yet, Cincy’s biggest offseason move thus far was to bring aboard offensive tackle Cordy Glenn. That move will help, but the Bengals offensive line is still a primary weakness.

Cincinnati needs to have a home-run NFL Draft class to turn this thing around.
