NFL power rankings: Final 32-team breakdown ahead of the 2018 draft
By Peter Panacy
Let’s say this, the Browns are finally moving in the right direction after years of arguably the worst ineptitude we’ve seen from a franchise in recent memory.
Cleveland had draft picks aplenty this offseason, using quite a few to bring in talent to immediately upgrade the roster. Trading for quarterback Tyrod Taylor gives NFL-ready consistency under center, while wide receiver Jarvis Landry and running back Carlos Hyde provide additional weaponry.
And adding a number of other blue-chip players should help matters too.
The Browns won’t be a winless team in 2018. They’re significantly better than last year already, but they remain in last place in our NFL power rankings, as there are still a ton of holes to fill.
Fortunately, Cleveland still owns nine picks in the upcoming NFL Draft, including five in the first two rounds.
That’s insane and a great place to continue the rebuild.
