Chicago Bears. 19. team. 57. . . Previous:

The Chicago Bears needed to provide weapons for second-year quarterback Mitchell Trubisky this offseason.

So what did they do? Land former Atlanta Falcons slot receiver Taylor Gabriel and grab the biggest free-agent name at the position, former Jacksonville Jaguars wideout Allen Robinson.

Pretty good. Heck, very good.

The way first-year head coach Matt Nagy works with these guys will be intriguing to watch. And paired with standout running back Jordan Howard, Chicago’s offense is poised to be good for the first time in, well… a long time.

The only thing holding the Bears back from climbing any further in our NFL power rankings is the wonder whether or not Trubisky will take that next step in his development. If so, it wouldn’t be a shock to see Chicago legitimately contend for an NFC North crown this season.
