The defending Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, don’t have a lot of needs. And that makes this NFL Draft one of luxury.

Philly could go one of a number of different directions here, but there’s a good deal of buzz going around it has serious interest in Texas A&M wide receiver Christian Kirk:

Wide receiver doesn’t appear to be a huge need. After all, the Eagles have wideouts Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor on the roster heading into the season. But adding a shifty, elusive slot-type receiver in Kirk does make some sense.

At 5-foot-11 and 201 pounds, Kirk is the epitome of a speedy slot receiver.

Adding him would only make quarterback Carson Wentz’s impact greater felt on the field.
