No. 5: Sam Darnold (USC)

There is little question that USC quarterback Sam Darnold will be selected first overall in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns.

I’m so sure of this pick that I’d bet a million dollars on it.

Even though his 2017 season was inconsistent, Darnold is a lock to be taken first in the draft, flashing unbelievable accuracy and pocket presence during his two years as a Trojan.

Darnold also possesses that desired size that NFL scouts love, coming in at 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds.

I don’t need to say a lot about Darnold. NFL scouts think that he is the prototypical quarterback, which will make him the first player to be taken off the board in 2018.
