1. A.J. Jenkins, Wide Receiver, Illinois

I got nothing to say about A.J. Jenkins and his time with the 49ers, because there is nothing to literally say about his time with the 49ers.

He spent one year with the team, and did literally nothing. No receptions, no yards, no returns, no gadget plays to give him a touch, nothing. He wasn’t even on the field most weeks, only appearing in three games and being a healthy scratch in the rest.

He appeared in a mere 37 offensive plays and was targeted just once, a wide open play which he promptly dropped. That drop was literally the only time he touched the football as a 49er.

Jenkins was drafted with the 30th overall pick in the 2012 draft, the 2012 draft may literally be the single worst NFL draft in the history of the proud 49ers franchise.

How bad was that draft? Not a single pick from that draft is still with the team and only current Dallas Cowboy offensive lineman Joe Looney still remains on an active NFL roster.

Jenkins is one of the all-time busts of not just the 49ers but the entire NFL, and he was the beginning of a very depressing draft.

Let us hope that this year is more of the same of the last, and not another 2012.
