5. Marquise Goodwin

No man benefited more (discounting Jimmy Garoppolo and his rather substantial new contract) from the change at quarterback more than Marquise Goodwin.

His stats pre-Garoppolo? Twenty-seven catches for 578 yards and a touchdown

His stats with Garoppolo? Twenty-nine catches for 384 yards and a touchdown

Keep in mind that Goodwin was taken out early by the second string Rams defense in Week 17, likely ending his chance at his first 1,000-yard season.

The chemistry between Garoppolo and Goodwin is huge, and they have a whole season to excite the 49ers faithful.

I’m backing Goodwin in, I think this could be a breakout season after his breakout season.

Season Prediction: 90 receptions for 1500 yards and eight touchdowns
