It is the fifth round, and I’ve landed a true boundary corner in the likes of J.C. Jackson out of Maryland. At 6-foot-1 and a load at 185 pounds, Jackson can take on big receivers and cover ground as a strong tackler on run support.
Jackson had some off-the-field issues while in Florida as a Gator, but has since turned his life around under head coach D.J. Durkin.
Charlie Campbell of Walter Football says this of Jackson:
"“eam sources from multiple teams have really liked what they’ve seen from Jackson’s film. They say that staff at Maryland speak well of him as a person and that he hasn’t had problems there. Evaluators are grading Jackson for Day 2 because of the off-the-field concerns."
Jackson knows football is his entire life and has made significant strides to improving his lifestyle.
