Bradley Bozeman, Center, Alabama

Bozeman, a 6-foot-5, 310-pound mountain of a man brings leadership, a winning mentality and physical toughness the 49ers truly need from an interior lineman.

The 49ers have been in talks with Alabama, center, Bradley Bozeman at the 2017 Senior Bowl.

Pro Football Focus has ranked Bozeman No. 11 among all FBS draft-eligible centers. Allowing one sack, no QB hits and three hurries on 325 pass-blocking snaps, Bozeman posted a pass-blocking efficiency rating of 99.0.

The stats Bozeman compiled during his time at Alabama jump off the page, as he plays against some of the best competition  and faces the best athletes coming out of the SEC.

If Bozeman is on Lynch’s radar, then securing his signature in later rounds is certainly feasible.

Once again, the needs are great for the 49ers in terms of tending to the linebacker and cornerback positions. Keeping this in mind, Lynch should start looking at interior linemen starting in the fourth round.

Moving back in the 2018 NFL Draft should start in the first round accruing as many draft picks possible, especially attaining picks in the second to fourth round, specifically.

This draft is loaded with talent, and the 49ers would be able to tend to their roster that is suspect to say the least.

I will have a mock draft up soon. No trades involved, but more to defining why it is mission critical for the 49ers to trade down, and how far down the ladder they should go in order to secure the players they need on a roster in need of a youth drive.
