No. 4: Michael Gallup (Colorado State)

Colorado State’s Michael Gallup has been nothing short of outstanding throughout his college career. In 2017, Gallup caught 100 passes, recorded 1,413 yards and reached the end zone seven times.

Gallup had his best game against Nevada on Oct. 14, 2017 in which he amassed 263 yards and scored three touchdowns.

Throughout his time with the Rams, Gallup used his physicality and strength to battle defensive backs for the ball. Gallup found success in catching the ball with his solid frame, body control and playmaking skills, which should benefit him in the NFL.

Although he still needs some improvement to his overall catching abilities, Gallup is still a versatile player who many NFL teams would look for. Gallup’s toughness should be another factor that would lead a team to eventually draft the talented receiver.

Gallup is now projected to be drafted between the second and third rounds, giving the 49ers a chance to pick him up and acquire a high-quality player.
