No. 5: Marcell Frazier (Missouri)

Missouri’s Marcell Frazier might not be good at stopping the run, but he sure is good at getting to the quarterback — and that is exactly what the 49ers need.

Frazier has good size (6-foot-5 and 255 pounds) but admittedly, he doesn’t play up to it. He never sets the edge and often gets overpowered by the offensive linemen on rushing downs. However, on passing downs, he uses his hands very well to get to the quarterback. He also has a great motor, which he uses to his advantage to give 100 percent effort on every snap.

His tape versus Auburn may be a little bit lackluster, but remember that he isn’t getting much help from a weak Mizzou defensive line. Also, he is mocked to go in the late rounds, so Frazier could turn into a rotational pass rusher for the 49ers.
