No. 25: Carlos Hyde’s Big Debut in 2015
A recent breakout performance in the 49ers history came in Week 1 of the 2015 season. Second-year running back Carlos Hyde had just been named San Francisco’s No. 1 back and would try to fill the void left by franchise-best back Frank Gore.
Needless to say, Hyde’s efforts against the Minnesota Vikings in a prime-time Monday Night Football showdown were nothing less than epic.
Hyde finished the night with 26 carries for 168 yards and two touchdowns — an average of 6.46 yards per attempt.
