Kap’s playoff debut came in the NFC Divisional Round, as the red-hot 49ers under head coach Jim Harbaugh earned a first-round bye and hosted their postseason rivals in what turned into an epic game at Candlestick Park.
Kaepernick didn’t get off to a hot start, tossing a pick-six touchdown to Green Bay defensive back Sam Shields.
But one could argue that was Kap’s only bad play.
In total, Kaepernick rushed for a record-setting 181 yards and two touchdowns during the game. His 56-yard run in the third quarter gave the Niners a 31-24 lead, and San Francisco would never look back.
It’s impossible to leave this epic run off the list.
