NFL power rankings to kick off the Wild Card round of the playoffs

The Eagles sure wish they had quarterback Carson Wentz (knee) healthy for the playoffs, as backup QB Nick Foles struggled over his lone quarter of action versus Dallas.

Philadelphia is good enough elsewhere to overcome Foles’ issues, which will be vital in the playoffs. And having secured a first-round bye should help head coach Doug Pederson get his quarterback into a better situation in advance of the divisional round.

Still, Foles isn’t looking like the wonder he was back in 2013. That’s a problem.

It wouldn’t be a shock to see the Eagles make it to the NFC Championship game, but that will have to come by the way of the defense and a solid running game.
