NFL power rankings to kick off the Wild Card round of the playoffs

Head coach Sean McDermott changed up his roster quite a bit from last year, including shipping off a number of established veterans in exchange for draft picks. Some of the moves worked, while others didn’t.

The biggest, of course, was thinking rookie quarterback could take over the reins from the veteran, Tyrod Taylor.

Um, no.

Taylor is signed through 2018, but it’s pretty apparent he’s not on McDermott’s “safe” list. That could change, as Buffalo managed to squeak into the AFC playoff picture as a Wild Card. But I wouldn’t bank on anything more than a one-and-done postseason trip.

Especially if running back LeSean McCoy’s ankle injury is serious.
