W, 27-23 at Titans. Previous: . Los Angeles Rams. 4. team. 51.

The Rams drop a spot in our NFL power rankings this week, but that’s more about what the Steelers have to offer rather than anything the Rams did wrong.

It was interesting in Tennessee for a while, though.

Sure, the Titans were desperate for a win. But that didn’t matter to Rams running back Todd Gurley, who continued to make a strong case for an MVP award this season. He rushed for 118 yards and 22 carries, while adding 158 yards and two touchdowns through the air.

Players like Gurley make Los Angeles more than potent this postseason.

Meanwhile, quarterback Jared Goff continues to thrive under head coach Sean McVay. Goff passed for just over 300 yards with four touchdowns against zero interceptions, proving how well McVay’s offense is working.

It took a late touchdown by wide receiver Cooper Kupp to ensure the Rams would come away with a 27-23 win, though, so perhaps the closeness of this game somewhat justifies the L.A. drop.

Just a smidge, if anything.
