No. 1: Jaguars Cornerback Jalen Ramsey

Anyone who has watched the Jaguars front-seven defense this season knows it’s good, and we’ll get to that in a second.

But Jacksonville’s secondary is equally as impressive.

Perhaps none other than No. 1 cornerback Jalen Ramsey is the player to watch here. Pro Football Focus currently gives him a 93.2 grade, which ranks second among all qualifying cornerbacks. That’s elite status right there.

Ramsey has four interceptions on the season and 17 passes broken up. Simply put, opponents don’t have much success targeting him.

He’ll match up against the 49ers’ No. 1 wide receiver, Marquise Goodwin, a lot this Sunday. It’s going to be a fun matchup to watch, although Ramsey could easily have the edge.

Oh, and if swapping the field is an idea you have, the Jaguars have fellow corner A.J. Bouye — 90.8 PFF grade, No. 5 overall — opposite Ramsey.
